Bed mattresses : How to choose a full mattress based on your height

A full mattress size is a relative matter. It lies between a King and a Queen size mattress, but we don't want to get involved in the King and Queen's indiscretions. So its size really depends on your interlocutor. If you ask a pygmy, a full mattress is about the size of a crib mattress, except that it sleeps two and if you ask the American basketball team, a full mattress needs to be manufactured especially for its members, who are six feet six and above and who also love to pamper themselves with all the amenities of modern life, normally showered upon sports stars.

The purpose of a full mattress is to provide comfort and coupling. It is used primarily as a place to sleep and relax, as well as for intimacy. Therefore, its size is compliant with the size of its owners. In ancient times, mattresses were stuffed with feathers, which were the exclusive privilege of rich people. Eventually, new fillings in the vogue of the times included cotton and later, synthetic fillers. By today's standards, a full mattress is made of springs, latex, solid foam, or can be filled with air and/or water.

A full mattress is usually placed on a box spring or base, a wooden box the size of a mattress that is equipped with springs to provide suspension and support. Above the box spring is generally a bed frame, although many people in Europe have done away with the box spring and make do with the bed frame under a mattress.
