Using the RSS Feature in Multiply

Learn about how you can follow all of your Multiply friends using the Multiply RSS feature.

Multiply is a social networking service with an emphasis on sharing all sorts of media. Through Multiply, users can share pictures, videos, blog posts and more. However, if you are a member of Multiply and a number of other social networking sites as well it can be hard keeping track of your friends. This is where RSS comes in.

In Multiply, each user has an RSS feed. This is signified by a little orange icon on the user’s profile page. By clicking on this you can opt in to receive an RSS update of all of that friend’s activity on the Multiply site—what content have they published? What have they uploaded? What are they up to? You can copy and paste the feed URL for the user you would like to follow into your own RSS news feed gadget or widget or RSS reader. Then, each time your friend updates their Multiply account you will be notified. You don’t even have to sign into Multiply to find out what your friends are doing there.

Follow one friend or keep track of all your friends. You can constantly update and change your RSS feed to follow only those Multiply friends that you want to follow. Simply add new feed URLs or remove the URLs of those friends that you aren’t interested in following anymore. Keep in mind that only the 25 most recent updates are displayed at any given time.

How does Feedzilla work?

Feedzilla is a news aggregator which categorizes news stories by topic. It is a platform where webmasters and bloggers can find an unmatched selection of easy to use, automatically updating and professional news widgets for their sites. Feedzilla supports the building of widgets in various formats, as well as allowing the addition of news widgets to different blogging platforms and social networks.

Feedzilla manually aggregates news summaries found in RSS feeds, and redistributes them in either RSS format or as a news widget. Content is collected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from an ever-growing list of providers.
