The Potomac theater Project puts on three plays during its summer residency at Atlantic Stage 2.

Caldwell Theatre Company will hold children's acting classes on August 9 in connection with Boca Festival Days events, part of a month-long, city-wide celebration, organized by the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce

"There's a need out there for quiz shows that regular people can actually win, with questions that don't require a PH.d. We reward people for good grades in school; should we not equally reward those who know all the American Idol winners, Luke Skywalker's home planet, or Screech's real name?! Answer - Yes we should!"

Due to overwhelming popular demand, the U.S. premiere of Stitching by Anthony Neilson, directed by Timothy Haskell and starring Meital Dohan (Showtime's "Weeds"), has extended its run through Saturday, August 2 at The Wild Project (195 East Third Street). The show, which opened to strong reviews on June 25, began previews on June 17 and was originally slated to run through July 19.

Bix Barnaba will play 33rd US President, Harry S Truman in the acclaimed comedy "GIVE EM HELL HARRY! by Samuel Gallu beginning July 20 at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46th Street, NYC.

Although it lasts just half an hour, this staging of a Samuel Beckett piece is one of the most wholly satisfying nights I've spent at the theater this year.
