New releases were at their weakest in months. In fact, outside of TV on DVD, there were no new releases in the top five, and only one in the top ten. This left Nim's Island at the top of this week's sales chart with 178,000 units for the week, which is the lowest total for a number one film on our list since we've been keeping track of sales. In total the DVD has sold 644,000 units for two-week total of $12.05 million.

There were no marquee new releases this week, which left Nim's Island in first place on the rental chart, although both Smart People and 21 were very close behind.
