The Celebrity Apprentice 2 has completed production, and one of its cast members has accidentally revealed one of the cast members who makes it to the final episode. Joan Rivers, who's competing on the show along with her daughter Melissa Rivers and other celebrities, was on Howard Stern's radio show and talked about her time on the series. In non-spoiler news, she said that she competed with Tom Green, but then revealed one of the cast members who made it to the end. Howard Stern Show recap site MarksFriggin.com reports (highlight the blank part to reveal the name) that "Joan wasn't going to talk about it but then she let it slip that Melissa made it right to the end. She realized her mistake and didn't say anything else about it." The show recap on Howard Stern's own web site doesn't mention that moment, and instead says, "Joan Rivers refused to comment on the next season of 'Celebrity Apprentice.'" During Survivor China, Jeff Probst filmed behind-the-scenes footage, revealing details about the Dream Team, base camp, challenge construction, and his daily life. In Gabon, Probst also filmed footage, and the first two videos are now online. (Still to come, apparently: a video featuring members of the press who visited Gabon, the video I somewhat dread.) The first shows how they shot the cold open, the segment before the credits that takes 24 hours to film and was filmed a five-hour helicopter ride away from base camp. The clip includes the rehearsal footage that was shot before the 4:30 a.m. shoot. Eventually, Probst is left alone at the top of a 1,000-foot-tall hill, where he hides his video camera so it can record the cold open from his perspective. It's pretty spectacular. 50 Cent's search for a business mogul debuts tonight at 10 p.m. ET on MTV. On 50 Cent: The Money and the Power, host 50 Cent lets young people compete for $100,000 to seed a business. It's based upon his forthcoming book The 50th Law, which he wrote with The 48 Laws of Power author Robert Greene. Despite having its 14 wannabe entrepreneur contestants compete in book smarts versus street smarts teams and assign team "bosses," 50 Cent insists the show is not a clone of The Apprentice. "Immediately when you say a reality show that has a business spin to it, they think 'The Apprentice,' and the difference is these people don't actually want to work for me. They have their own business ideas that they created and they're competing for $100,000 in seed money," he told the AP. In other words, it's more like the UK's Dragon's Den, which is coming to the States and follows people asking for investments in their businesses. Fox has revealed the schedule for American Idol 8, and it looks very familiar: The show will debut in mid-January and air Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, the equivalent Tuesday to (last season's first episode. The Futon Critic reports that the eighth "season will open with two-hour installments on Tuesday, January 13 and Wednesday, January 14 before settling into its regular one-hour time periods -- Tuesdays at 8:00/7:00c and Wednesdays at 8:00/7:00c -- the following week." The show is supposed to cut results shows from an hour to a half-hour, but results shows don't start for a few weeks into the season.
