Heaven On Earth - Trailer
Vibrant and irrepressibly alive, Chand (Preity Zinta) is a young bride leaving her home in Ludhiana, India, for the cavernous landscape of Brampton, Ontario, where her husband Rocky (Vansh Bhardwaj) and his very traditional family await her arrival. Everything is new to Chand; everything is unfamiliar including the quiet and shy Rocky who she meets for the first time at the Arrivals level of Pearson Airport. Chand approaches her new life and her new land with equanimity and grace, and at times the wide-eyed optimism of hope-her first snowfall is a tiny miracle of beauty, and the roar of Niagara Falls creates the excitement of new beginnings. But soon optimism turns to isolation as the family she has inherited struggles beneath the weight of unspoken words, their collective frustration becoming palpable. No one feels the pressure more than Rocky, weighed down by familial obligations. A controlling mother who can’t let him go, a sweet but ineffectual father, and a sister whose two

Robert Blecker Wants Me Dead - Trailer
Robert Blecker is one of the country’s most impassioned crusaders for capital punishment. A self-described ‘emotive retributivist’ and new york Law School professor, his credo is “Some people deserve to die, and we have an obligation to kill them.” Daryl Holton is one of those people. In 1997, Holton shot his four children to death with an assault rifle in Shelbyville, Tennessee. For these crimes, he received four separate death sentences. The two men met in 2005, during Blecker’s research trip to Riverbend maximum-security prison. ROBERT BLECKER WANTS ME DEAD tells the story of the unlikely friendship that develops between them, as the condemned man and the scholar explore together the meaning of mercy, justice, and the morality of the death penalty.

The Alphabet Killer - Trailer
A ten year old girl is found brutally murdered outside the small blue-collar city of Rochester, new york, and obsessed police detective Megan Paige (Eliza Dushku of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and DOLLHOUSE) suffers a mental breakdown while trying to solve the crime. But when the child-killings resume two years later, Megan’s return to the investigation also brings back her own horrific hallucinations. Even if she can prove a ‘double initial’ connection to the slayings, will she hang onto her sanity long enough to catch a psychopath? Cary Elwes (SAW), Michael Ironside (STARSHIP TROOPERS), Bill Moseley (THE DEVIL’S REJECTS), Carl Lumbly (ALIAS) and Academy Award winner Timothy Hutton co-star in this chilling thriller directed by Rob Schmidt and based on the true story of the murders that shocked America.

The Betrayal - Trailer
Filmed over the course of 23 years, The Betrayal is the extraordinary story of a family’s journey from war-torn Laos to the mean streets of new york. During the Vietnam War, the United States government clandestinely operated in the neighboring country of Laos – recruiting Laotians for CIA-backed missions. When the U.S. withdrew, the new Communist regime sought vengeance. Thousands were imprisoned or killed. One family, the Phrasavaths, made the courageous decision to escape to America. Epic in scope yet devastatingly intimate, renowned cinematographer Ellen Kuras’ directorial debut is a collaboration with the film’s subject and co-director Thavisouk Phrasavath. Featuring a score by Academy Award winning composer Howard Shore, The Betrayal is an astonishing tale of survival and a testament to the resilient bonds of family."
