The Time Traveler's Wife
As it stands, "The Time Traveler's Wife" is decent evening's entertainment with an intriguing enough premise and some strong heart tugging to keep the women happy and the men from getting too bored. But it's so safe, so tame. The most entertaining films are the ones that produce genuine drama and conflict. "The Time Traveler's Wife" is content with just the Lifetime channel version of it.

The Goods: Live Hard * Sell Hard
"The Goods" isn't trying for anything more than that, but what it is trying for it more or less succeeds at. That doesn't make it a particularly good movie; in fact it pretty much ensures that it can't be one, but it's a funny one, once. Not any more, but not any less.

Inglourious Basterds
Watching WWII through the eyes of Quentin Tarantino is infinitely more fun than the real thing; the results are unforgettable.

An Action Star Moves to the Lead
Over the past 26 years, the martial arts actor Donnie Yen has built up a dedicated following. But it is only now, at 46, that he is entering "leading man" territory, previously dominated by Jet Li and Jackie Chan.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
It's clear that Sommers really gets the appeal of G.I. Joe to its fanbase, although far too often, the movie veers into territory that seems more like advertising for the cool vehicles and playsets. For a movie that's clearly meant as a macho testosterone-driven action flick, it's the ladies who often steal the show.

Advertising: The Birth of 'Just Do It' and Other Magic Words
A film took ad campaigns indelibly seared into American consciousness and examined their path to pop culture glory.

Movie Review | 'Inglourious Basterds': Tarantino Avengers in Nazi Movieland
"Inglourious Basterds" is simply another testament to Quentin Tarantino's movie love.

World's Greatest Dad
IWorlds Greatest DadI was never really going to be a great film, but with a clearer finale, it really might have come close. Still, as a reminder of Williams power as a performer, and as another intriguing look into Goldthwaits strange mind, IWorlds Greatest DadI is worth suffering through that first half hour.

This Is the End
Film Reviews: A hopefully prophetically titled film that plays like an absurd Europudding set during a global apocalypse.
