Following feedback from members of the public and from member pharmacies the NPA and Allergy UK have changed the business model for the Allergy Screening Service. Members have reported that patients enquiring about allergy screening at pharmacies are keen to be tested and unwilling to accept that a test is unnecessary. Allergy UK is receiving similar feedback. It has therefore been agreed that a package to include the screen AND test should be offered initially.
