General Mills Recalls Progresso Hearty Tomato Soup
General Mills is voluntarily recalling a single day's production of Progresso Hearty Tomato soup because of a product labeling issue. Product produced on this date may have been mislabeled, and may contain allergens not listed on the ingredient label, specifically egg, milk, and soy.
There have been no reports of allergic reactions or illnesses associated with this product, however, the possibility of unlabeled allergens makes this a Class One recall.
This voluntary recall includes only 19-ounce Progresso Hearty Tomato soup with the following code date printed on the bottom of the can:

The Department of Human Resources, Division of Public health is asking parents to ensure that children do not have any White Rabbit Creamy Candies or Koala's brand candies that have been recalled for melamine contamination.
The Department of Agriculture has found samples of the candy with significant amounts of melamine. Parents also need to be cautious of candy imported from Mexico, especially candies with tamarind, which may have excess amounts of lead.
Below is a list of known candies found to contain melamine:

A new study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) found that folic acid and other B Vitamin supplements do not prevent cancer. Dr. Shumin Zhang, associate professor of medicine at Brigham and Women's hospital and Harvard Medical School reviewed data on nearly 5,500 women over age 42 who had prior cardiac disease or at least three risk factors for heart disease.
They randomized the study participants and gave them daily supplements of 2.5 mg folic acid, 50mg Vitamin B6 and 1mg Vitamin B12 or a placebo.
