Pfizer likely to top Daiichi offer for Ranbaxy by 20%, report says
BANGALORE (MarketWatch) -- Pfizer Inc. (PFE) is working on a counter offer that will be 20% higher than the price offered by Japan's Daiichi Sankyo Co. Ltd. (4568.TO) to buy a majority stake in Indian drugmaker Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. (500359.BY), Financial Chronicle reported Friday, without citing any sources.
