Iran to export natural gas to Bahrain
Iran has reached an agreement to export 1bn cubic metered of natural gas per day to Bahrain, according to a state-owned Iranian journal. The two countries have signed a new MEO last week during a visit by the Iranian Oil Minister, Gholam Hossein Nozari, to Bahrian. Iran, who owns the world second biggest gas reserves, said recently it prefers to export gas to its neihbors in the Gulf but is taking careful steps to reach export agreements with these countries.
