Five additions to oneworld network this yearThe oneworld airline alliance is set to expand its international flight network in the forthcoming season, which starts on October 26th, with three new destinations in Brazil and two in Asia.British Airways is among the airlines that will be boosting the oneworld network this year when it launches new flights to Hyderabad from Heathrow Airport in December.Hyderabad will be the airline alliance's sixth gateway in India, joining Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore and Calcutta.Japan Airlines will begin flying to Mount Fuji Shizuoka Airport when the gateway opens early in 2009, while american airlines will launch new services from Miami to the Brazilian destinations of Belo Horizonte, Recife and Salvador in november.The forthcoming flight season will also see oneworld carriers upgrade a number of services between key hubs, offering more convenient connections for travellers.Developments will include new flights from London Gatwick to New York JFK
