VANCOUVER, WA (MARKET WIRE) Northwest Pipe Company (NASDAQ: NWPX) today reported record sales and earnings for the third quarter of 2008. Sales in the third quarter ended September 30, 2008 were $123.4 million compared to $92.0 million in the same quarter of 2007. Net income in the quarter was $10.2 million, compared to $5.1 million in the third quarter of 2007. Per share earnings were $1.09 in the third quarter of 2008 compared to $0.55 per share in 2007.
