Specifically, Hitachi Data Systems data storage capabilities have been deployed. The company also announced plans to expand its London facility and to open a new data center in Amsterdam. The company's Docklands data center is nearly filled to capacity with 89 percent of the available space sold. As a result, Global Crossing has embarked on Phase II of that build-out and already has pre-sold 10 percent of the additional racks available to prospective customers.
