Going into the spring season, designers talked about making pieces that were both relevant and effortless to connect with consumers. Did it translate to the runway? You be the judge by seeing pieces like Max Azria's almost-too-sexy-for-anywhere slits or Willow's sequin pants: pretty pieces, but where do you wear them and do we need clothes that require that much thought? What I did like were pieces that I could immediately incorporate into my wardrobe like Pamella Roland's square-neck dress (pictured, left). See all of the Day 6 Fashion Week photos. It was a fashion lover's dream come true: I got the opportunity to go backstage at the G-Star Spring 2010 fashion show last night, and it was absolutely incredible. I did some interviews behind the scenes, so if you want to see more G-Star fashion show footage be sure to watch my clip! Going backstage was a fabulous experience, and the runway show itself didn't disappoint, either. The space was packed with celebs like Taylor Momsen, Lindsay Lohan, Jared Leto and Project Runway alum Christian Siriano, and the clothes were cutting-edge yet utterly wearable. I'm on the fence about this one: Designer Stephanie Kim has created a line of 'footwear styling pieces' called Dekkori that can be used to update an existing pair of shoes and make them look like a whole new style. Take this $64 buckled Mystique style, for example: The leather strips can criss-cross over a plain pair of pumps and transform them into ankle strap shoes. What do you think - is this a cool idea? How does Feedzilla work?
Feedzilla is a news aggregator which categorizes news stories by topic.
