Mubadala denies Iran import rumours
Mubadala Development Co. has denied that it is holding talks with the National Iranian Oil Co. to import gas to the UAE. ?Neither Mubadala nor any of its subsidiaries is involved in discussions with the National Iranian Oil Co.,? Mubadala has said. Iran's state-run Mehr news agency has reported that Mubadala had offered to import Iranian gas to the UAE after a delay in a deal between NIOC and Crescent Petroleum Co.

Aramco opens data streaming centre
Saudi Aramco has announced the launch of its high-tech Engineering Solutions Centre (ESC), the Arab News has reported. The ESC allows real-time data to stream from the plant to engineers and other experts using the latest visualisation technologies, Aramco has said. The ESC centre, located in Aramco's headquarters in Dhahran, is a prototype of a more advanced centre that will be built at North Park in Dhahran, which will be larger with the capability to integrate more plant data and engineering application packages.

Dragon Oil posts 37% profit fall
Dubai-based Dragon Oil has reported a 37% drop in profits to $105m (Dhs385m) for the first half of the year, compared to $166.9m for the first half of last year, The National has reported. Revenue also fell 29% to $263.5m from $373.5m. The company has attributed the fall to lower oil and gas prices and a tax increase, but has also said its output was below expectations.

It is a platform where webmasters and bloggers can find an unmatched selection of easy to use, automatically updating and professional news widgets for their sites.
