That is because Chad Henne got him the ball. Henne hit him four times for 38 yards, including a 2-yard TD pass in the beginning of the 4th quarter. His long grab went for 21 yards.

Ginn had caught just one ball for 4 yards until the middle of the 4th quarter. That is when QB Chad Henne saw him streaking down the middle of the field and hit him in stride for a 53-yard TD bomb that put Miami up 24-20 at the time. They would eventually win 31-27.

CBS News Tuesday, October 13, 2009Brown scores twice in MNF victoryDolphins RB Ronnie Brown led the team with 74 yards on 21 carries on Monday night in a big win over the Jets Week 5. Brown took the ball every which way. He carried straight on handoffs, took the ball directly under center and even threw a few passes. Brown scored two rushing touchdowns in the game. He scored on a 1-yard run in the 1st quarter to put the Dolphins up 7-0. He later ended the game with a 2-yard TD run that put them ahead for good, 31-27. Brown added three catches for 14 yards and also went 1 of 2 on passing with a 21-yard completion.
CBS News Tuesday, October 13, 2009Henne reminiscent of Dan Marino in winIn a game reminiscent of the Dolphins' Dan Marino days, Chad Henne did just fine filling that role on Monday night against the Jets in Week 5. In only his second NFL start, Henne completed 20 of 26 for 241 yards and two touchdowns. He threw deep to Ted Ginn Jr. for a 53-yard score to give Miami a 24-20 lead with 10:10 left and then orchestrated the drive that put them ahead for good late in the 4th quarter. Henne added a TD pass to Anthony Fasano earlier in the 4th.
CBS News Tuesday, October 13, 2009Edwards scores in first Jets gameJets WR Braylon Edwards had a huge first game with his new team on Monday night against the Dolphins. Despite a Week 5 loss, Edwards was the big story for New York. He came up huge and immediately connected with quarterback Mark Sanchez. Edwards scored the Jets' first touchdown in the 1st quarter on a 3-yard TD pass from Sanchez in the back of the end zone. Edwards would finish with five grabs, to lead the team, for 64 yards. He just narrowly missed another touchdown reception late in the game when it was ruled he came down at the 1 yard line and not in the end zone.
