GamersHell Wednesday, August 05, 2009Medal of Honor will return - EACEO teases over future of once big IPEA haven't actually
announced a new Medal of Honor game yet, but speaking with
investors, CEO John Riccitiello did hint that work is underway on a new game, the publisher presumably eying the
success of Call of Duty with some envy."We're not yet in a position to discuss specific plans, but we will do so in due course," the big cheese assured, stating that the series remains "somewhere out there".The last couple of Medal of Honor games were
released in 2007, before EA went back to the drawing board, presumably vowing to re-ignite the brand. Rumour has it that the next iteration, a proper next-gen affair by some accounts, could be set in Afghanistan, which would make some sense when you
consider the success rival series Call of Duty has had in the modern setting.More on this as we get it.
