FIFA Soccer 09 (PS3)At the German Games Convention in Leipzig today, EA announced the latest innovation regarding their FIFA football franchise (or soccer to those of us in the United States). While many players are accustomed to trying to build up the stats of their athletes over a season, fifa 09 players will be able to take advantage of a new feature known as FIFA Live Season. Similar to elements found in NBA Live 09, Live Season will track the stats of an athlete's performance in real life and adjust the stats of their in-game personas accordingly. So, for example, if Rooney has a cold streak, or Kaka is on fire in real life, you'll notice a definite change in how their digital characters play. Live Season will be available in the PS3, 360 and PC versions of fifa 09.
