Prestigious Awards

Two of the Manitoba track and field community were recently awarded prestigious awards. On June 3rd, 2008 Kieran Moolchan was one of the 81 young Manitobans who received the Duke of Edinburgh's Award - an award given to those aged 14-25 who have demonstrated extraordinary community service, adventurous spirit, physical skill, and personal growth. Codd Competes at U..S. Junior Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Nikki Codd, a rising sophomore from Spokane, Wash., finished 10th in a time of 2:12.15 in the preliminaries of the 800-meters at the USA Junior Outdoor Track and field Championships in Columbus, Ohio on June 20. She missed qualifying for the finals by seven-hundredths of a second.
