Audio: Wasatch head says the market is undervalued, except for energy, where he sees pullback coming Sam Stewart, president of the Wasatch funds, says that the market is undervaluing many quality companies, which promises good times ahed for investors who can ride out the current, protracted downturn. In a radio interview, Stewart also said that 'all of the fundamental factors would argue thatwe should have had [energy] prices sotening over the last eight or nine months. Instead, they doubled.' At this point, however, Stewart believes energy is now overdue for a pullback, and that investors should be looking for quality names, which he defines as companies with good recurring revenues and sound, stable businesses that are not overly cyclical.
