NEW YORK (MarketWatch) - Shares of Lehman Bros. Holdings fell more than 9% in late trading Monday, as a market nervous about credit-related issues at banks took aim at the embattled firm. Lehman has been a popular target for short-sellers in the last few weeks after reporting $3 billion in write-downs for the second quarter, its first quarterly loss since going public in 1994. A report in The wall street Journal Monday also speculated investors may be selling off Lehman stock on the last day of the second quarter in order to avoid listing it among company holdings.
