Sun Pharma net up 28%
Better domestic business and exports helped Sun Pharmaceutical Industries report a 28 per cent increase in net profit for the third quarter ending December 2008 to Rs408.6 crore, compared to Rs 318.35 crore in the corresponding previous quarter. The actual decline in the gross domestic product - at a 3.8 percent annual rate - fell short of the 5 to 6 percent that most economists had expected for the fourth quarter.
