Westminster Bridge closed after Tamil ceasefire protest Police closed Westminster Bridge in London and attempted to contain thousands of Tamil protesters who surrounded parliament last night demanding an immediate ceasefire in Sri Lanka.One man was rescued after jumping into the Thames.
