Now Google's Algorithm will help its HR know who's going to quit
Google is using its algorithms for purposes beyond making its Search strong and that other purpose is to tell which one of its employees will be waving goodbye to Google. And the best part is, Google might know it long before they even start thinking of doing so. The search giant will use this feature; which is still in beta (as everything else about Google is), uses quantitative analysis to find employees who might just be loosing interest in the company and would sooner or later call it quits. The idea behind integrating its power tool with HR is to keep the cream as its employees are slowly moving out. This would help Google find ways to continue engaging its employees in activity and have a chance to be a part at contributing towards innovation. Well from the report it appears the tests have proved successful in quite a few cases and Google has managed to retain key employees using the same. ---Related Articles at Startup Meme:ClickPass embeds Google, Hotmail, Yahoo and Facebook i

Letters: Weigh them now
The stand of Digvijay Singh and Iqbal Singh against the inclusion of Lalu Prasad and Mulayam Singh in the cabinet is logical and correct (Back in business, UPA discusses government berths, May 18). Lalu, Mulayam and Ram Vilas Paswan ditched the Congress just before elections as they were confident of becoming kingmakers after the elections. Lalu offered only three seats to the Congress while Amar Singh was emphatic in saying that no government at the Centre is possible without the Samajwadi Party (SP). But the voter has given a big jolt to the SP in Uttar Pradesh and left Lalu Prasad with only four seats in Bihar while Ram Vilas Paswan has been defeated. It is amusing to see Amar Singh and Mulayam Singh now rushing to Manmohan Singh with unsolicited support SP. This time Congress has no compulsion to ally with these proven opportunistic, power-hungry and untrustworthy leaders.
