2008 WSOP Event 25 Winner Kenny TranKenny Tran is a dreadful man; but this commentary does not apply to his personal life, where he is probably the sort of guy you would want to hang out with and have a beer, but when you play against him, the dreadful part of him comes out. Oddly enough, he would probably be flattered by this description of how he plays the game. Kenny is the new Event #25 (10,000 Heads-Up No Limit World Championship) World Champion. This bracelet means that he is currently the best in the world when it comes to playing poker one-on-one. launchpoker.com Thursday, June 19, 2008

2008 WSOP Forecast, Day Twenty One: Events the Pros AvoidToday is Day 21 of the 2008 World Series of poker and once again two new events are getting started. The first event is a relatively cheap No Limit Holdem while a second event is one of those $10,000 World Championship types - Omaha High Low Split Eight or Better. Guess which event the professional poker players are going to avoid like the plague. Now, normally there would be no reason why a professional poker player would avoid playing in a $1500 No Limit Texas Holdem tournament. launchpoker.com Thursday, June 19, 2008
