Fight and f-word gives Big Brother 10 its highest ratings yetTuesday's episode of Big Brother 10, with its spectacularly entertaining fight, gave the show its highest ratings of the season.Overall, 6.4 million viewers watched, which is still less than the 7.3 million who watched ABC's Wipeout's recap episode, but represents 'a season high' for CBS' series according to Variety. Last night, for Jessie's surprise eviction, ratings fell a bit to 6.18 million viewers, TV By the Numbers reports. On Tuesday, Libra apparently said the word 'fucking' during her argument with Jessie, and it was broadcast without being censored. That's one of my favorite words, and I watched the episode but didn't even notice, because what Libra's saying is virtually unintelligible, and she ends up screaming something that sounds like, 'Memphis was in the uckin room.' (Watch it again; it's at the very end of this clip, just after the 10:00 mark.)Of course, the Parents Television Council, never missing an opportunity to inject themselves into the news, is upset, saying Realityblurred.com Friday, August 08, 2008

Joshua Allen wins SYTYCD 4During the finale of So You Think You Can Dance 4, Courtney Galiano was, unsurprisingly, the first finalist to be eliminated. Next went Katee Shean, leaving Joshua and Twitch as the predictable final two. 'After nearly 60 million votes,' as host Cat Deeley said, the fourth season of So You Think You Can Dance was won by Joshua Allen, who of course started to cry. He defeated Stephen 'Twitch' Boss, and both are untrained street dancers, a first for the show. Katie and Twitch each received $50,000, so only Courtney got screwed out of a prize. Not that it was necessary, but the finale helped solidify the show as the best talent competition on TV. Although it was ultimately two hours of filler leading up to the reveal, that filler was mostly repeat performances by the cast, and thus it was two hours of exceptional, unbelievable talent. Judge Mary Murphy took a break from screaming to dance on the stage, and even that old bastard Nigel Lythgoe tap danced with a group of Debbie Allen-tr Realityblurred.com Friday, August 08, 2008
CNBC will air UK ApprenticeAlthough NBC has abandoned the version of The Apprentice that stars real people in exchange for the celebrity edition, CNBC will soon start broadcasting the U.K.'s non-celebrity version of the show, which some in the U.S. are already fans after watching it online.CNBC announced that it will broadcast it twice every Monday night, at both 9 p.m. ET and 1 a.m. ET, starting August 25 and concluding November 10. It will also repeat Saturdays at 8 and 11.The Apprentice UK, which airs on BBC One, has broadcast four seasons and three related spin-off shows, and follows the format of Donald Trump's version. In his place is Sir Alan Sugar, who's apparently closer to Gordon Ramsay in his approach than to Donald Trump, although he's more witty than abusive. Here's a montage of some of his moments from the fourth season: 'Apprentice UK' Will Start Airing August 25th on CNBC [CNBC]>> read the latest news about The Apprentice >> find more reality TV news and gossip at reality blurred Realityblurred.com Friday, August 08, 2008
