George Clooney Joins Dad for Special `Good Luck` Screening
George Clooney joined dad Nick Clooney for a special screening of George's critically acclaimed Edward R. Murrow film 'Good Night, and Good Luck' in Washington Monday night, and it wasn't long before the jokes began to fly. The elder Clooney, a former news anchor and columnist, uses the 2005 film about the legendary journalist who took on Joseph McCarthy in the '50s to teach students at american University. At the Newseum, a museum about the news, George made a special appearance and his dad said that it's important to him that college students learn from his son's work, according to the Associated Press.

`Ugly Betty` Takes a Break
ABC new comedies "In the Motherhood" and "Samantha Who" will replace "Ugly Betty" in the Thursday night timeslot. ET has the details behind the network's decision to rest the show!On Monday, ABC announced its Thursday night schedule change, indicating that the Megan Mullally/Cheryl Hines comedy "In the Motherhood" will premiere March 26 at 8:00 p.m., followed by Christina Applegate's "Samantha Who," which is re-launching on its new night at 8:30 p.m.Although "Ugly Betty" is absent from the line-up, the show will return to the network.

Miss Indiana Katie Stam, a viewer-selected finalist, wins Miss America
The woman who won Miss America Saturday night was selected as a finalist by viewers of TCL's reality series Countdown to the Crown. Miss Indiana, Katie Stam, won the title and $50,000. The runner-up, Miss Georgia Chastity Hardman, was also one of four viewer-selected finalists; viewers also voted for Miss South Dakota Alexandra Hoffman and Miss Alabama Amanda Tapley. She won despite having 'battled a throat infection and laryngitis throughout the week,' as the AP reports. SEVEN JEWISH CHILDREN-A PLAY FOR GAZA Begins Run On 2/6
Seven Jewish Children - A Play for Gaza by Caryl Churchill will receive a limited run at the Royal Court Theatre, beginning on 6 February. Written in response to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and examining the history of Israel, the play will be performed for free in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs, with a collection taken afterwards for the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP):Emergency Appeal for the People of Gaza. It will be directed by Dominic Cooke, Artistic director of the Royal Court.With a running time of around 10 minutes, the short play will be performed at 9pm each night after the scheduled 7.30pm performance of The Stone by Marius von Mayenburg.Tickets will be available from the Royal Court box office (not online) from Monday 26 January. Although there will be no official Press Night, the production will be open to the press from 10 February onwards.The script will be available to download for free from 11 February from the websites of the Royal Court Theatr
