`Departures` wins 10 Japan Awards Film News: Film has earned 60 honors this awards season -- Oscar-nommed drama 'Departures' has won 10 Japan Academy Awards, including best picture. At the 32nd ceremony in Tokyo on Friday, 'Departures' also took prizes for director (Yojiro Takita), actor (Masahiro Motoki), supporting actor (Tsutomu Yamazaki) and actress (Kimiko Yo) plus screenplay (Kundo Koyama).
