The Last Citadel
For a great 'at the site of the action' war story, choose any of David Robbin's books. I  just finished Last Citadel, which deals with German Tiger tanks and the Cossack war front in World War II. Robbins has a great command of description, and he truly researches his history.

Is "The Real Housewives of New York City" star Bethenny Frankel dating Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez? If so, she's keeping mum about it. "I've been dating a lot of different, interesting people," she said at her recent book signing and Skinny Girl cocktail launch at The Water Club by Borgata in Atlantic City. "I have had the fortune of being single and meeting a lot of interesting people and I'm certainly not ready to settle down with Mr. Right yet. I haven't found him, so I'm not committed to anyone. Just playing the field, as it were."

London Book Fair opens amid optimistic buzz
Business and aisles are busy at British publishing's annual jamboreeEarl's Court underground station was jam-packed this morning, as much of the UK's - and the world's - publishing industry attempts to make their way into the exhibition centre, clutching or dragging armloads of books, diaries weighed down with back-to-back appointments.
