"I hurt my ribs last week doing a difficult move," Melissa said in an interview taped earlier on Wednesday. She said that during rehearsals, she re-hurt the rib, and, "felt a blinding pain." At the doctor's office, Melissa was diagnosed with a probable hairline rib fracture, and despite having some treatment earlier in the day on Monday, the pain became too intense and she was not able to perform Monday night.
