The Australian Pink Floyd returns to the Benedum Center with their biggest show yet, Big Pink Greatest Hits World Tour2009, for one night only Monday, October 5, 2009, at 8 p.m. The new tour features music from Wish You Were Here, Animals, Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall and more. In December 2007, The Australian Pink Floyd Show Dark Side of the Moon played the Benedum Center to a sell-out crowd. The Australian Pink Flood also launched The Wall tour in October 2008, selling it out as well.

Shakespeare on the Sound, Connecticut's premier outdoor summer theatre company presenting free Shakespeare in the park, has announced that it will release a studio recording of the brand new, specially commissioned music by 2008 Tony Award-winning singer-songwriter Stew for Artistic Director Joanna Settle's inaugural production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. The recording is expected to have 15 tracks, featuring 5 all new songs by Stew. The CD will be available for pre-sale at all performances of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Release date is scheduled for July 21, 2009.

ET has learned that Patrick Swayze's A&E drama "The Beast" will not return to the network for its second season. Swayze, 56, continued shooting the series during its first season despite his diagnosis and treatment for pancreatic cancer last year. In "The Beast," which debuted last January, Swayze played an unorthodox FBI vet training a new partner while being pursued by a secret Internal Affairs team. The star revealed he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March 2008.
