The Caffeine Theatre`s `Under Milk Wood` is a Jolt of Fun
Last night, the Caffeine Theatre in association with the Chicago DCA Theater opened Dylan Thomas' 'Under Milk Wood' at the Storefront Theater. Thomas' dark 'Day in the Life' comedy about the fictional Welch town of 'Llareggub' explores the theme of isolation in an ever shrinking world, while still celebrating the glorious possibilities humanity offers. First broadcast in 1954 as a radio play, Director Paul S. Holmquist and a cast of nine bring to life over forty characters through fetes of physicality and a mastery of Thomas' language.

Author and activist disagrees with documentary's take on her critique of 'disaster capitalism', to be screened on More4Naomi Klein has disowned Michael Winterbottom's forthcoming screen adaptation of her bestselling book, The Shock Doctrine, by asking to be removed from the credits of the documentary after serious differences arose between her and the British director.The Canadian journalist, activist and author of No Logo had originally been slated to narrate the film and act as a consultant.But it is thought Klein became unhappy with Winterbottom's take on her critique of 'disaster capitalism' and western economic cynicism after seeing early cuts of the film.
