Movie Goers Return for Second Helping of `Chance of Meatballs`
The book-turned-movie, 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs,' came in at No. 1 at the box office for the second weekend in a row, pulling in $24.6 million. The animated film beat Bruce Willis' new action film, 'Surrogates,' that grossed $15 million. The dancing film 'Fame' opened at No. 3 at the weekend box office, making $10 million. Matt Damon's new comedy 'The Informant!' dropped down to No. 4 while in its second weekend in theaters, pulling in $6.9 million. Meanwhile, 'Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself' still managed to stay in the top five, grossing $4.8 million.

Weekend Estimates: Zombieland Has a Lively Opening
Horror-comedy Zombieland made an impressive start over the weekend to top the weekend chart, according to studio estimates released on Sunday. The movie, starring Woody Harrelson, earned an impressive $25 million -- the actor's best opening ever. It was a great weekend for Sony, which also saw a strong third weekend for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. The 3D digital animation fell 33% to $16.7 million and is now well on its way to a $100 million total.

The 3D family movie earned $24.6 million, by Sony's estimate, which is down just 19% from its opening. The studio will be hoping that the great word-of-mouth will keep the movie going even with the arrival of the Toy Story 3D Double Feature next weekend.
