(Oklahoma State University) Dr. Regina DeWitt, an assistant research professor in the department of physics, has received a $496,000 grant from NASA. The two-year award funds further development of a miniature optical dating instrument (ODIN), which can be used for dating the surface of Mars. DeWitt will partner with ICx Nomadics, an international sensor development company, on the project.
