An Absurd Argument- Gays and Lesbians Shouldn`t Be Allowed To Adopt Due To Health Concerns The differences over homosexuality and homosexual behaviors come down, primarily, to religious belief.However, within American culture, a purely religious argument is frowned upon. After all, we are taught that we are suppose to reject religious argument because it blurs the line between Church and State as enshrined in the First Amendment.
