Canucks come close
Luongo surrenders tying goal with 39.1 seconds left before Vancouver loses sixth straight game in overtime
The Globe and Mail

Luongo 39.1 seconds away from win
Roberto Luongo stopped 27 shots for the Canucks during a heartbreaking 2-1 overtime loss to the Sharks Tuesday. Though Devin Setoguchi ruined Luongo's bid for his 44th career shutout with 39.1 seconds to go in the third period, Luongo was sharp in just his third game back after an eight-week absence with a groin injury. He made his biggest save while flat on his back with about 8 minutes left, somehow looking up quickly enough to glove Dan Boyle's shot cleanly from a prone position. However, after Daniel Sedin committed a hooking penalty midway through overtime, Joe Thornton made a cross-ice pass to Patrick Marleau for the San Jose captain's 25th goal and game winner past Luongo to steal a win from Vancouver.

Evgeni Nabokov made 13 saves for San Jose during a 2-1 overtime win against the Canucks Tuesday. Nabokov allowed a Taylor Pyatt goal 12:38 into the first period and trailed 1-0 for most of the game before Devin Setoguchi tied the game with 39.1 seconds left. Patrick Marleau had the winner in overtime to send Nabokov to his 25th win.
