`Joe Show` ready to go
In a Q&A on the Baltimore Sun, one of the questions posed to the Ravens beat writer was: Will there be a sophomore jinx for QB Joe Flacco? Here was the answer: 'No, but he'll struggle more in 2009 because there is more game tape on him than in 2008, and opposing teams will find more weaknesses. Two areas Flacco has to improve are throwing intermediate-to-long passes in tight windows over the middle - which the Ravens have been working on in passing camp - and becoming more of a leader, because it's the nature of the position. It's his offense now - the Joe Show.'

Ravens hopeful Williams will develop
In a Q&A with the Baltimore Sun one of the questions posed to the Ravens beat writer was: Can WR Demetrius Williams become the deep threat the Ravens desperately need? Here was the answer: 'Williams has all the tools, including good size and outstanding speed. He has shown increased toughness with catches over the middle the past two seasons. The problem is that Williams has done it in practice and not on the field. Last year wasn't his fault because rookie QB Joe Flacco relied on WR Derrick Mason as his primary weapon. But before Williams becomes an offensive threat, he has to become less of an enigma. A week ago, he played well in a minicamp. A week later, he was a no-show.'

McGahee has plenty to prove
In a Q&A on the Baltimore Sun, one of the questions posed to the Ravens beat writer was: Will RB Willis McGahee have a productive season? Here was the answer: 'No one knows about McGahee. When the mind is right and the body is healthy, McGahee is one of the best running backs in the NFL. His offseason work habits, though, have to improve. McGahee might be the Ravens' biggest bust acquisition in team history, as he signed a seven-year, $40 million contract in March 2007 after the Ravens had traded three draft picks to the Buffalo Bills for him. If the Ravens could, I think they would fast-forward his exit right out of Baltimore.'
