Richard great but going back to bullpen
White Sox SP Clayton Richard (4-3) allowed only a run on five hits over eight innings in a 5-1 win over the Tigers on Sunday to help the White Sox salvage a four-game series that started with them tied atop the AL Central with Detroit. Richard struck out three and walked two in the game as his ERA dropped to 4.65 on the season. However, MLB.com reports that Richard will return to the bullpen.

No great expectations for this Cowboys team
JENNIFER FLOYD ENGEL Training camp begins in just about 24 hours, and the good news is it will be very hard for your Dallas Cowboys not to live up to expectations this season. There are no expectations. Not for a Super Bowl. Not really beyond 9-7 and just OK.Certainly not nationally.Just look at NFL power rankings going into 2009, and almost every newspaper/.com/blog/fanboy page has a 1-32 list of NFL teams. Most have the Cowboys wedged somewhere between 13 and 19, with No. 19 being a fairly popular landing spot. The rankings seem to say what nobody in these parts is willing to, namely: Until they prove otherwise, this is a middling NFL team. This seems to chap some people, most notably the head coach of the Cowboys, who likes to argue 13-3 and bye-week wins and the promise of big talent and pretty stats. But the reality is the Cowboys have not won a playoff game since 1996 and thus rightfully have earned the rep as an underachieving circus. They are good drama. They are not so good in D

Braves blow out Brewers
Casey Kotchman hit a three-run homer and Nate McLouth made a pair of great catches in center when starter Derek Lowe began to tire, lifting the surging Atlanta Braves to a 10-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday. Kotchman's deep drive to right off Braden Looper in the sixth was the difference for Atlanta, which has won eight of 11 since the All-Star break.

Braves 10, Brewers 2
Derek Lowe began waving emphatically as soon as he saw where Jason Kendall's shot was going. Lowe's gestures to Nate McLouth were meaningless, but the center fielder made the play all the same. Casey Kotchman hit a three-run homer and McLouth made a pair of great catches in the sixth when Lowe began to tire, lifting the surging Atlanta Braves to a 10-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday. 'I was waving him over there, I had the perfect angle of it,' Lowe said.

From the Judges Tower Part 2 ?The Tides Have Turned? By Leigh Ramsdell III
The hardest part of judging is pretty much all of it. You have 20 guys competing against each other, all with different styles and all with a huge bag of tricks. It’s pretty much anyone’s game. Clay Brown even told me the hardest part of judging today’s event was Rob Darden and Diogo Canina because they had similar runs. But they ended up with 3rd and 2nd, which was a huge jump from yesterday. Who won? You’ll have to wait to the end of this little story…or just jump to the bottom and see if you’re really impatient. Another thing about contests is that not placing well does not necessarily mean you didn’t do great things on your bike. Sometimes things just don’t go as planned. One of the crowd’s favorite, 13-year-old Nicholi Rogatkin, had a few falls but nailed a flip-whip over the box! Did I mention he was 13? He’s frickin’ 13 and does flip-whips! Another standout was Chase Hawk. He’s not known for doing the crazi
