Report: Bears RB Jones out for `09
Delivering a blow to the depth behind starter Matt Forte, the Chicago Sun-Times reports that RB Kevin Jones will miss the 2009 season with a torn ligament in his ankle. Rehabilitation is expected to take up to 10 months, meaning that he'll be lost for the season. Jones was finally healthy after numerous knee and foot injuries and was expected to pick up a few carries each week during the season.

Adrian Peterson (of the Bears, not the Vikings) and Garrett Wolfe are expected to aid in the rushing duties behind Forte for the season assuming the Bears don't acquire another running back.
