Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress wants to avoid what happened to Eric Mangini. Childress told Brett Favre he'd rather save the $25,000 for college tuition for his kids. The NFL recently fined Mangini and the New York Jets for their failure to list Favre on the injury report last season with his throwing arm hurt.
