Crayton could lose starting job
The Dallas Morning News reports Cowboys WR Miles Austin, who is coming off a franchise-record 250 yards on 10 catches against Kansas City in Week 5, including the game-winning 60-yard touchdown in overtime, worked with the first team in practice Monday. Dallas had a bye in Week 6. Roy Williams, whom Austin replaced in the starting lineup against the Chiefs, practiced for the first time Monday since suffering bruised ribs against Denver and missing the Kansas City game. Coach Wade Phillips said Austin would see more playing time as a result of his performance, but he would not say that Austin would replace Patrick Crayton. Crayton has started four of the first five games this year. He started seven of the first 11 in 2008 before being replaced by Williams.
