MCUs are suited for portable and power sensitive systems.Models ATtiny48 and ATtiny88 32-pin tinyAVR® MCUs have 4 and 8 Kb of Flash memory, respectively. Using picoPower(TM) technology, they consume less than 240 µA at 1.8 V and 1 MHz, and less than 100 nA in power-down mode. Operating from 1.8-5.5 V, devices feature zero power brown-out detection circuitry, power reduction register, digital input disable registers, 10-bit ADC, SPI, I2C interface, internal temperature sensor, up to 12 MIPS throughput at 12 MHz, and on-chip debug system. This story is related to the following:Computer Hardware and PeripheralsSearch for suppliers of: Microcontrollers (MCU's) Thomasnet Tuesday, August 12, 2008
Network Tester offers multiplay traffic generation/analysis.Combining line-rate, hardware-based performance statistics for video, voice, and data services on same test port, N2X multiservices test solution characterizes ability of individual network elements or entire networks prior to deployment. It can help enforce QoS requirements and meet subscriber QoE expectations, across multiple services at once. What Should I Do With My Tech Junk?Thomas Matysik writes 'I'm attempting to de-clutter my house and I've hit a rough patch: the computer room. I've got a bunch of wires, hardware and software that (I think) were useful at one point in time, but these days it doesn't do much more than take up space. Selling it seems like it'd be a huge hassle and it seems really wasteful for me to just pitch all of this stuff in the dumpster. I've considered giving it away to Goodwill, but I'm afraid that's not the right sort of outlet for this stuff. My question: what should I do with all of my tech junk?' of this story at Slashdot.
