Sling Media launches beta Mac version SlingPlayer Sling Media has released its beta version of SlingPlayer for Mac OS X. Zatz Not Funny notes that the beta SlingPlayer renders video recorded on the Slingbox attached to a users television, enabling streaming over the Internet. The beta is a web browser plug-in for Safari 3 and Firefox 3, but it only works on Intel-based Macs.
