Obama proposes spectrum license fee
Buried in U.S. President Barack Obama's budget blueprint for 2009 is a new-but-undefined spectrum license user fee that would increase from $50 million in 2009 to $550 million four years later.The budget blueprint, released Thursday, provides no more details about the fee. BBC Trust launches public consultation on IPTV project
(Telecompaper) The BBC Trust has launched a public consultation on the BBC proposal to develop a joint venture partnership to help enable IPTV. The proposal known as Project Canvas, would allow viewers to watch on-demand services, such as the BBC iPlayer and other internet content, via television sets. This proposal forms part of the partnership plans developed by the BBC executive. The BBC executive has applied to the Trust for permission to form a joint venture partnership, that would set and promote a common standard for delivering on-demand TV and other internet content through a broadband connected device such as a set top box. The BBC would not be involved in the manufacture or distribution of equipment.

In the end, the judge asked if he wanted compensation for being there — he replied that he did not want anything, but they could send flowers to his wife. Feedzilla is a news aggregator which categorizes news stories by topic. It is a platform where webmasters and bloggers can find an unmatched selection of easy to use, automatically updating and professional news widgets for their sites. Feedzilla supports the building of widgets in various formats, as well as allowing the addition of news widgets to different blogging platforms and social networks.

Feedzilla manually aggregates news summaries found in RSS feeds, and redistributes them in either RSS format or as a news widget. Content is collected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from an ever-growing list of providers.
