Dems May Split Health Care Reform Into 2 Bills
Democrats might have a new strategy to pass landmark health care reform, the Wall Street Journal reports today. The White House and Democratic Senate leaders are considering splitting up the bill into two parts in order to get it passed this year. Meanwhile, President Obama is taking his fight for health insurance reform to talk radio.

New jobless claims rise unexpectedly to 576,000
The Labor department says the number of first-time jobless claims rose to a seasonally adjusted 576,000 last week, from a revised figure of 561,000. Wall Street economists expected a drop to 550,000, according to a survey by Thomson Reuters.
