Slashgamer is not one to talk about dumb Wii 360 merger rumors, but they do find that conversation very fascinating. It's amazing to see Nintendo being open to have a conversation with Microsoft, and possibly licensing their Wiimote to them. SLashgamer is not saying this is at all going to happen, it's just incredible to see Reggie say, their open to the idea.

Following the trend from May, June sales for the xbox 360 again sagged behind the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo is now in the lead with over 11 million in sales while the xbox 360 is at about 10.5 million in sales. In 20 months Nintendo caught and surpassed the xbox 360 in total units sold, and for the first time a non-current generation console is leading the new next generation consoles.

RPS has a great trailer for the new browser-based Quake live game currently in beta.
