Pandemic Studios' open-world 1940s game finally has a solid release date. It applies to the PC version, too.

These two episodes boast brutally entertaining combat, but repetition dampens the excitement after a while.

2010 seems to be a new slate for most video game companies, as upcoming blockbuster games such as Bioshock 2, Heavy Rain and Bayonetta won't make it out this year as planned. Now you can add one more title to the list, the heavily anticipated Crysis 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC).Cry-McGinge, Crytek's Community Representative, posted the news in the official modding portal site of Crytek. Crysis 2 will not be released October 30th 2009. We of course have no official release date but its definitely not this year.There you go. In case you missed our earlier report, The Behemoth's colorful co-op hack-and-slash title Castle Crashers is indeed coming to the PS3. The game's a huge hit on Xbox 360, but for those who have yet to be exposed to the frenzy, here's a crash course straight from the devs.The Behemoth has yet to announce a release date for the PSN version of Castle Crashers, but hopefully it'll be out by the holidays. Another gameplay vid coming our way, this time, it's one on the latest Namco Bandai fightfest, Tekken 6 (PS3, Xbox 360, PSP). This vid's got some variety of fighters in it, but Miguel steals the show with his power pick-up moves and sheer gung-ho striking. See for yourself.Miguel looks as though he won't look out-of-place in a Spanish soap (he's Spanish, in case you didn't know), but the Tekken rookie feels much more at home on the battleground picking you up, juggling you around, and knocking you back down. Heads up, Avatar threads coming your way. Back at the Comic-Con in San Diego, Cliff Bleszinsky and Ron Fergusson of Epic Games have announced that Gears of War-themed armors are coming to xbox live for your Avatars.Now that I've made you click out of curiosity, you can now see that Epic Games is throwing two Avatar armors into Xbox Live - the COG and the Locust armors. Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) lead writer and designer Motomu Toriyama sat down with Japanese gaming mag Jump and talked more about what eager fans and gamers have left to learn about the upcoming FF. Good news: Square Enix still has a few more party members to reveal.'We will be revealing more party members in the future,' Toriyama said, talking about the latest party member named Hope Estheim. As far as Hope is concerned, he's the youngest of the five revealed so far since he's only 14. 'he still has some childish behaviors in him as well as a very fragile heart,' Toriyama said. 'His mother died when she joined Snow's resistance group and blames Snow for it. More news popping out of the Comic-Con in San Diego. Activision has announced that Speedball's alter-emo ego, Penance, will be in your roster of heroes in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 (PS3, PSP, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii, DS).Since Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 plays deep into the storyline of Civil War, it's a bit of a no-brainer that Penance is in the game. 'Gameplay-wise he's going to make for very good fusions. Beyond that, we wanted to have some new characters to be excited by, and finally...he just looks kinda cool,' said director Dan Tanquay.Apart from Penance's potential for fusions, Tanquay didn't mention if Penance will be armed with self-damaging attacks or if he could tank all the enemy fire by himself in remorse.Activision also confirmed that two more characters are still to be revealed, while one more will 'never be revealed' that is to say we won't know who it is until we get the game. If you weren't able to get the All Fronts Collection DLC pack for Gears of War 2 when it showed up on the Marketplace last week, you can get it now along with Dark Corners.The Dark Corners Multiplayer Map Pack contains seven new multiplayer maps and a bonus deleted single-player campaign that has Marcus and Dom navigating the Locust highway, where you can choose to go in with guns blazing or opt for a more stealthy approach. This one's available for 1200 MS Points.The All Fronts Collection is geared more towards those who have yet to download any of the previously released map packs.
